6.0 Leads to National Recognition for Ontario Shores

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Whitby, ON) recently received national recognition for their success in using MEDITECH's 6.0 platform to improve patient care delivery. The facility was honored with three industry awards for health informatics excellence and leadership, at the 7th Annual Canadian Health Informatics Awards Gala. 

Ontario Shores' staff, along with members from Healthtech Consultants (Toronto, ON), were named Project Implementation Team of the Year and Project Patient Care Innovation Team of the Year by the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC). In addition, Ontario Shores' Clinical Education Leader Alison MacDonald was recognized as 2011's Emerging Leader in Health Informatics by COACH (Canada's Health Informatics Association).
